"... Fatma Betul Seker, a physics student, presented her research “Modeling the Spread of Spotted Lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula) in Vineyards”. Fatma worked alongside iEcoLab collaborators, Jacob Woods and Benjamin Seibold, from the Temple University Mathematics Department to model spatial configurations of SLF preferred host plants and the implications of SLF invasion in a vineyard. The model demonstrated invasion of a vineyard would change depending on the conditions and proximity to preferred host plants."
